A cold front moved through here late yesterday. The cooler and drier air that followed the front will stay with us through the weekend.
Weekend temps and dew points
The average Twin Cities high temperature is 83 degrees on July 29. Metro area highs are forecast to be in the lower 80s this Saturday.
The northern third of Minnesota and parts of northwestern Wisconsin will have Saturday highs in the 70s, with 80s elsewhere:

Afternoon dew points will be in the comfortable 50s in many areas, with some lower 60s southeast:

Sunday highs will be in the lower 80s in roughly the southern half of Minnesota, with mainly 70s elsewhere:

Most of the weekend will be dry. An upper-level disturbance could bring scattered showers to parts of northern and central Minnesota late Saturday night into Sunday morning.
