This feels like autumn.
It was a chilly morning across much of Minnesota, with many areas dipping into the 30s. Worthington dropped into the upper 20s.
Twin Cities metro area lows were mainly in the lower 40s, with a few spots dipping into the upper 30s.
Weekend temps
The average Twin Cities high temperature is 63 degrees on October 7. Metro area highs are forecast to reach the lower 50s this afternoon.

Most of Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin will see Saturday highs in the 50s, with 40s in north-central and northeastern Minnesota plus northwestern Wisconsin:
Low temps early Sunday morning will be mainly in the upper 30s to lower 40s:
Some mid 30s are possible in parts of far northern Minnesota.
Sunday highs reach the 50s in most areas, with 40s in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin:
Some spots in southwestern Minnesota could top 60.
Rain chances
A few spotty sprinkles are possible Saturday morning in east-central Minnesota, the east metro and western Wisconsin.
Scattered showers are possible later Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening in north-central and northeastern Minnesota plus northwestern Wisconsin.
A few spotty showers are possible on Sunday in northeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
