It’s another balmy November day across Minnesota. Kansas City, Mo., with lakes.
Temperatures this November in the Twin Cities are already running 2.4 degrees warmer than average. With temperatures running at least 10 to 20 degrees warmer than average this week, we’ll push that number to 4 or 5 degrees warmer than average by late this week.
Highs on Monday are pushing well into the 50s once again across southern Minnesota with some 60s in the southwest.
Tuesday and Thursday look like the warmest days this week. Temperatures should reach the 60s in the Twin Cities and much of southern Minnesota on Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday will be a few degrees cooler. But highs on Thursday will once again push into the lower 60s across the south.
Keep in mind the average high and low temperatures this week for the Twin Cities are 42 and 28 degrees.
Cold front Thursday night
A cold front will sweep across Minnesota Thursday. The colder air will begin to reach southern Minnesota Thursday night. Friday brings a brisk northwest wind and seasonably cooler temperatures.
Snow chance Thanksgiving week?
It’s hard to believe next week is already Thanksgiving week. Forecast models suggest the colder air will take hold next week with highs mostly in the 30s.
The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and Environment Canada models suggest a chance of possible snow around next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Keep in mind it’s way too early to pinpoint snow locations and totals a week in advance. But if multiple forecast models are picking up on a snowy signal as we move deeper into November, it’s worth watching.
