Brisk northwest breezes Tuesday and temperatures in the 30s across most of Minnesota are more typical for the season.
Wednesday brings one more day with fading November sunshine and milder southwest breezes. High temperatures in the 40s will be common around Minnesota on Wednesday afternoon. Highs in the 50s will cover southwestern Minnesota.
Thanksgiving weekend brings a colder shot of Canadian air. You can see the large cold Canadian high-pressure cell dropping south on the maps at the top of this post.

Highs will fall into the 20s and 30s on Thanksgiving Day. Yes, you’ll be able to store those beverages outside to keep them cold Thursday.
Friday brings even colder air with highs hovering in the 20s across most of Minnesota.
Most of the weekend will be dry. A weather system passing through Sunday brings a chance for some snow showers to Minnesota and the Upper Midwest.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Global Forecast System model below shows the light snow patches swirling through between midnight and 6 p.m. Sunday.
