Today in Fargo-Moorhead: Sunny and warmer, cease-fire march across the river

Thursday brings sunshine and warmth (compared to Wednesday, at least). We’ll see a high of 41, rising to 49 on Friday. We could see rain and/or snow this weekend.

A local anti-war organization called CODEPINK Fargo-Moorhead is organizing a cease-fire solidarity march starting at 3:45 p.m. Thursday. The half-mile route starts at the Fargo City Hall and ends at the Hjemkomst Center for the Moorhead Human Rights Commission meeting. Organizers are protesting the Israel-Hamas war.

Events Saturday include: the Fargo Bloody Mary Fest, the Red River Winter Market, a silent reading party at the Moorhead Public Library, a big band jazz show and Dancefestopia 2024. A benefit for trans folks runs all weekend.

The Fargo-Moorhead Comic-Con is Saturday and Sunday at the South Fargo Ramada by Wyndham.
