The Moorhead Human Rights Commission approved a resolution for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war Thursday night, to be recommended to the City Council. It came after dozens of cease-fire protesters marched from Fargo City Hall to the Hjemkomst Center, where the commission meets monthly.
The city councils of Fargo and Moorhead issued a joint peace proclamation statement Thursday:
Events Saturday include: the Fargo Bloody Mary Fest, the Red River Winter Market, a silent reading party at the Moorhead Public Library, a big band jazz show and Dancefestopia 2024. A benefit for trans folks runs all weekend.
The Fargo-Moorhead Comic-Con is Saturday and Sunday at the South Fargo Ramada by Wyndham.
