Are you traveling to see the total solar eclipse next Monday?

If you are, it looks like parts of Illinois and Indiana may be the best odds for clear to partly cloudy skies.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Global Forecast System model is more pessimistic and keeps clouds in over more of the central United States but suggests a window for better eclipse viewing across parts of Illinois and Indiana.

Keep in mind the Global Forecast System can overdo cloud cover many times.

The Canadian model suggests a much sunnier scenario across much of the eclipse path of totality.

Temperatures look comfortable across most of the eclipse path.

It should be an awesome event for those who find a clear sky spot on Monday!
