It's been an eventful week for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
On Sunday, a fight broke out between several players in a game against the Detroit Pistons that ended in several ejections and suspensions.
On Tuesday, the Wolves notched a thriller double-overtime win at the buzzer over the Denver Nuggets.
On Wednesday, Glen Taylor announced he will cede ownership to Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez.
Then on Thursday, the Timberwolves won their fourth straight game, beating the Brooklyn Nets 105-90.
The Wolves have only a handful of games left — and these will be decisive with playoffs right around the corner. Sitting at the 7-seed, they will be battling for a playoff spot in what is a closer-than-ever Western Conference.
But the team seems to be finding its stride recently, said Ben Beecken, host of the Locked on Wolves podcast.
“There’s a lot of reason for optimism,” he said. “They’ve found a way to win in different ways and that’s what you need to be able to do as you head into playoffs.”
