Get out the bikes, golf clubs or sneakers for some beautiful outdoor weather this Memorial Day weekend. We’ll enjoy our share of sunshine and comfortable outdoor temperatures.
Our long ramp into the weekend on this lovely Thursday transitions to some frost across most of northeastern Minnesota Thursday night into Friday morning.
Northeastern Minnesota will see 20s and low 30s. The Twin Cities will drop to around 44 degrees.

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 29 will result in frost formation.
* WHERE...Northeast Minnesota, except for the lakeshore areas of Lake and Cook Counties. Northwest Wisconsin.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 9 AM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Friday brings a few clouds to our skies especially in the afternoon hours. But mostly sunny skies return for this upcoming weekend. A slight chance of a passing shower arrives Memorial Day.

Next week looks warmer across Minnesota. Highs will ease up into the balmy mid-70s by next Tuesday.
Forecast models indicate temperatures around 80 degrees for much of Minnesota by late next week.
