Our well-advertised slowly moving front dropped a deluge of rainfall from around the Twin Cities westward Thursday night into Friday.
More than a month’s worth of rain fell at several locations west of the Twin Cities. There were some prolific rainfall totals from Willmar to Montevideo.
The chart below shows some of the highest rainfall totals from around Minnesota. Note that some reports are from earlier Friday and additional rain may have fallen since then.
Scattered showers linger this weekend
Our stubbornly soggy weather pattern will keep a few scattered showers in the forecast this weekend. We’ll heavy many dry hours, but expect a few more hours of showers.
