Super soaker: Another multi-inch rainfall event for many locations

Wet enough for ya?

Our latest Summer of 2025 super soaker has dropped multi-inch rainfall totals in parts of Minnesota. The widespread soaking left soggy soils and brimming creeks and ponds in parts of northeast and southern Minnesota. radars lit up across our region through Monday morning.

More than 4 inches of rainfall came down south of Duluth. Many locations picked up 2 to more than 3 inches of rain in the past 24 hours.

This latest soaking continues the trend of our soggy summer in much of Minnesota. Areas from the western Twin Cities into western Minnesota have recorded 10 to 15 inches of rainfall in the past 30 days!

Sunnier days ahead

Our October like Wednesday gives way to sunnier skies starting Thursday. Highs will recover back into the 70s by Thursday afternoon.

We should hit 80 degrees again in much of southern Minnesota this weekend.
