The WNBA All-Star Weekend brought the league's brightest stars to Indianapolis — and even among the best, several Minnesota Lynx players made their mark.

Lynx star Napheesa Collier steered her team to the weekend’s biggest prize with Team Collier winning the showcase game Saturday against Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark's team. Collier also took home the MVP award. 

But behind the scenes, Collier was busy leading the players in contract negotiations that took place Thursday before All-Star Weekend as vice president of the players union.

The players and the league failed to come to an agreement after those negotiations. In response, the players made a unified statement before the Saturday All-Star game wearing shirts that said, “Pay us what you owe us.”

, Collier said, “We get a very tiny percentage of all the money that’s made through the WNBA, which obviously is through our entertainment — entertainment we provide. So, we want a fair and reasonable percentage of that.”

Meanwhile, two other Lynx stars, Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman, created buzz with their 72-hour marathon live stream of the festivities. The two teammates, otherwise known as StudBudz, gave fans unfiltered access: taking them inside the tunnel, onto the court and even to the after parties. 

The StudBudz garnered nearly 15,000 viewers this weekend and became the highlight of the event for fans and players alike. 

Hopkins High School graduate Paige Bueckers, who currently plays for the Dallas Wings, also made her debut as an All-Star playing on Team Collier. 

The Lynx return to season play Tuesday hosting the Chicago Sky.
