The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southern Minnesota Western Wisconsin

* Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 525 PM until 1100 PM CDT.

* Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...Strong to severe thunderstorms will continue to develop across the region through early evening. Hail will be possible, and at least isolated damaging wind potential will exist, especially as storms merge/organize as they progress east-southeastward. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35 statute miles north and south of a line from 35 miles north of Redwood Falls MN to 55 miles east southeast of Eau Claire WI.
