You may know about the butter sculpting contest or the Princess Kay pageant. But every year at the State Fair, one city also gets crowned “Best in Glass.” 

The award — presented by the Minnesota American Water Works Association — goes to the place with the best tap water based on votes from folks at the Fair. 

This year, Chaska beat out 21 other cities for the title. 

Chaska water and sewer director Matt Haefner talked to MPR News about what it takes to get such tasty water.
