A pleasant late summer air mass will linger over Minnesota into the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend. We’ll enjoy plenty of sunshine with just a few isolated shower chances for the next few days.
Temperatures on this Tuesday afternoon are in the comfy 70s across Minnesota. Wednesday brings another pleasantly mild day with highs well into the 70s.
Isolated showers Wednesday
Weak weather systems will bring chances for a few isolated showers Wednesday. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s HRRR model shows the trend for isolated showers in the north and south. The forecast model shown below loops between 7 a.m. Wednesday and midnight Thursday.
The rest of the week and the upcoming weekend looks mainly dry across Minnesota. Highs will continue to run mostly into the super pleasant 70s through the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Cooler days ahead?
There are signs of colder weather once again as we move into the new month. The European model and NOAA’s 8 to 14-day outlook show a colder air mass pushing into Minnesota once again for the first week of September.
