President Donald Trump said Tuesday he plans to "de-escalate" ICE's presence in Minnesota.
DFL State Sen. Doron Clark said that hasn’t been the case on the streets of Minneapolis.
“We've seen ICE activities up and down Central Avenue, and I know my colleagues have seen it around the state as well,” Clark told MPR News.
“Yesterday, somebody was grabbed at 28th and Central. Somebody else was grabbed at 22nd and Central.”

Video posted to social media Tuesday show ICE agents attempting to enter the Ecuadorian Consulate on Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis, allegedly without a warrant.
Clark said he stopped by the consulate Tuesday afternoon, and staff told him what had happened.
“This is Ecuadorian government property, and you cannot go there unless you have been invited in,” he said.
“And so, when [ICE] showed up at the door, the consulate staff just had to say no.”
