The U.S. House votes Thursday on a resolution limiting what President Donald Trump can do in Iran. The U.S. Senate decided not to interfere with the president's war powers on Wednesday.
Only one current member of Minnesota's congressional delegation was in office the last time Congress voted to authorize a war: U.S Rep. Betty McCollum, D-Minn.
She opposed the authorization of force against Iraq in 2002. And now, McCollum made clear she wants the recent strikes on Iran to stop.
“We need to figure out an off-ramp for it very quickly, before we lose more soldiers, before we have more people who are injured,” McCollum said.
