At political conventions over the weekend, Republican delegates selected former Navy SEAL Adam Schwarze as their endorsed candidate in the race.
DFL delegates endorsed Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, although she faces an August primary challenge from Minnesota U.S. Rep. Angie Craig. On Monday, Flanagan spoke with MPR News host Clay Masters about her party’s endorsement and its importance going forward.
