'Fewer rules cannot mean fewer results': Head Start providers worry about deregulation

The federal government is laying out a new vision for Head Start programs nationwide. A proposal from the Department of Health and Human Services would have Head Start change its approach and standards for teaching toddlers and preschoolers, shifting more of those decisions to the states. That could affect classroom sizes, health guidelines and more.

MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Tom Sheridan, deputy director of the National Head Start Association, about the proposed change and how it might affect children.
