Minnesota reported its highest-ever number of ballots cast in a primary, according to unofficial numbers.

The Minnesota Secretary of State's Office reports that more than 1.1 million people cast primary ballots Tuesday, up from the 

Statistics show Democrats accounted for at least 700,000 of Tuesday’s votes. That’s a measure of enthusiasm that could worry Republicans headed into November.
