With large swaths of Minnesota gripped by severe drought, the state has activated the Minnesota State Drought Task Force. The group helps coordinate responses and communication between state agencies and other institutions in times of significant drought.
MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Randall Doneen, deputy director of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources ecological and water resources division, about the drought task force.
