Doctors at Allina Health’s Mercy hospital campuses in Coon Rapids and Fridley filed a 10-day strike notice Friday that could lead to doctors walking off the job if a deal isn’t reached on a new contract.
The move comes after years of negotiations between the hospitals and the physicians union. MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Dr. Saul Singh, bargaining team member for the Doctors Council Service Employees International Union, about the strike notice.
