About 300 corgis and more than 600 people gathered in Andover, Minn. for the Midwest’s Largest Corgi Meet-Up.

Vendors, photo competitions, costumes and a derby race allowed lovers of the breed to celebrate their short-legged canine friends.

Organizer Terra Smith said it was the fifth annual event they have hosted, and each year they try to introduce new elements to the event. This year, a popular corgi derby race debuted at the meet-up, with more than 70 corgis participating.
