Minnesota Education officials seek students, adults to help improve standardized testing

The Minnesota Department of Education is seeking parents and students interested in helping modernize the state’s standardized testing system.
The department is forming a task force of 28 people, including superintendents and school researchers, to help improve testing. In a statement last week, the Education Department said the current system provides "limited instructional value.”
Adults and students can apply through Oct. 9 to be on the panel.
