An active pattern continues with lingering precipitation north Monday. Another system arrives bringing rain and even snow for northeast Minnesota late Tuesday into Wednesday.
The best chance of rain or a wintry mix will be in northern Minnesota Sunday night into early Monday. We start the week with mild temps and we’ll end the week with cooler temps.
Much of Minnesota will have dry weather through Sunday afternoon, but there will be some precipitation up north at times. We have an update on rain and flake chances up north plus a look at the week ahead.
Precipitation chances will be mainly in northern Minnesota today and during the daylight hours of Sunday. Saturday will be the coolest day of the weekend.
A private company recently installed a weather radar system in western Minnesota and has plans to add at least a half dozen more sites. Emergency managers hope the radar will fill gaps in the existing weather radar system.
Sunday will feature the mildest temps this weekend. Many of us will have dry weather for most of the weekend, with Sunday rain chances highest in northern Minnesota. Sunset will be about one hour earlier on Sunday.
