Flakes return late Saturday; chill continues on Sunday
The thermometer at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport hit 11 degrees early Saturday morning. It was the coldest Twin Cities official temp since April 3. Light snow showers at times, windy and cold; chilly weekend
Another batch of snow is expected to spread across the northern half of Minnesota Saturday afternoon into Saturday night and early Sunday. Southern Minnesota could see some scattered snow showers, mainly late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.
Periods of light snow late afternoon, evening; breezy, colder on Friday
Minnesota highs will be mostly in the 20s Thursday afternoon, with some lower 30s in parts of the metro area plus southeastern Minnesota. Highs in the 20s are expected statewide on Friday.
