A thundery start is possible on Saturday; Sunday still looks dry

Minnesota highs this Friday afternoon will be mainly in the 70s, with some lower 80s in the far southwest and far northwest corners. On Saturday, Minnesota highs will be mostly in the 70s, with some lower 80s in parts of the south and 60s along the north shore of Lake Superior.

Comfortable temps today: thunder chance increases overnight

Far southern Minnesota has the best chance of showers and a few thunderstorms as we go through the daylight hours this Thursday. There is a chance of very scattered showers today from west-central Minnesota to near the western edge of the Twin Cities metro area.
