A nearby high-pressure system will bring pleasant weather to Minnesota this Friday and most of Saturday. Southwestern Minnesota could see some scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

Today will be a lovely August day with much sunshine after the fog lifts. High temperatures will range from the mid 70s to low 80s with comfortable humidities. The Twin Cities should warm to about 80.
