It's likely that much of Minnesota and Wisconsin will see a plowable snow this weekend, and some areas will see 6 inches or more of snow.

Our next round of snow starts Saturday afternoon and continues into Saturday night. Estimates for that storm are 6 to 8 inches in the Twin Cities, down slightly from prior forecasts.

Two, and possibly three, snow systems are taking aim in the next few days. One model shows 6 to 12 inches-plus from southwestern Minnesota through the Twin Cities to Duluth and the North Shore by Sunday.
Upside down weather pattern; next snow Thursday night
Our next snow-maker rolls in by Thursday evening. Most models suggest another 1 to 3 inches Thursday night. The Canadian model is more aggressive, and lays out as much as 4 to 5 inches around the Twin Cities metro.
