A break in the steady rain; soggy Saturday
Our average high temperature is 70 degrees this time of year in the Twin Cities. We'll be much cooler than 70 today and Friday. The clouds and rain on Saturday will keep Minnesota highs mostly in the 50s, with some 40s in parts of northern Minnesota.
Wet and stormy: multi-inch storm waves this week
Slight severe risk today. We may bust into sunshine this afternoon. That should be enough to send temps into the 80s across southern Minnesota. Temps will push 90 degrees along the Iowa border today.

Our dry weekend was well-timed, wasn’t it? We’re now into a wet weather pattern. Our Monday afternoon showers and thunderstorms have moved on, but we’ll probably see another round of showers and thunderstorms overnight Monday night into very early Tuesday morning. Additional showers and thunderstorms will probably develop late Tuesday and linger into the overnight…
