ICE arrests drop nearly 12% after Minneapolis killings and immigration shake-up
At the peak of the crackdown, masked immigration officers were common in Minneapolis while thousands were arrested weekly nationwide. ICE arrests peaked near 40,000 in December but have since fallen about 12 percent after the February killing of two U.S. citizens in Minneapolis and a shake-up of immigration leadership.
