Trump threatens to move RNC without assurances from governor
President Donald Trump is threatening to pull the Republican National Convention out of North Carolina if the state’s Democratic governor doesn’t immediately sign off on allowing a full-capacity gathering in August despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Trump’s tweets Monday about the RNC planned for Charlotte come just two days after the state recorded its largest daily increase in positive cases yet.

Memorial Day 'Honor Flights' canceled because of coronavirus crisis
Thousands of people who were planning to visit war memorials in Washington, D.C., on Memorial Day had to cancel this year. That includes veterans traveling with the nonprofit network Honor Flight.

May 25 update on COVID-19 in MN: Hospitalizations rise to new high
Minnesota hospitals are treating 605 patients for COVID-19 and 248 in intensive care units, both new highs, according to data released Monday. State officials said last week that some hospitals had increased ICU capacity. The death toll is at 881 confirmed related to coronavirus infections.
