First round of snow winds down, second round develops
The first of two rounds of snow brought several inches so far and over a half foot in places across central Minnesota into northern Wisconsin. A wintry mix, including freezing rain is possible late this afternoon/evening across portions of southeastern Minnesota. We’ll see snow lighten up overnight to the north but a second round brings more snow late in the night into early Tuesday.

Farther south, the Twin Cities can expect some scattered light snow showers, but little or no accumulation. Southeastern Minnesota could see a wintry mix late this afternoon/evening. A winter storm is bringing significant snowfall to much of Minnesota early this week. Most of the snowfall Monday will be across central Minnesota into northern Wisconsin. A wintry mix is possible in southeastern Minnesota this afternoon. Temperatures will be in the 20s south and subzero into far northern Minnesota.
