Ashleigh Buhai has recovered from throwing away a five-shot lead at the Women's British Open by beating In Gee Chun in a playoff to win her first major title.
Police say 9 wounded in shooting outside Cincinnati bar
The shooting took place shortly after 1:30 a.m. outside Mr. Pitiful's bar in the Ohio city's Over-the-Rhine district, a popular nightlife area. The University of Cincinnati Medical Center said nine people were treated and released.
Shift in war's front seen as grain leaves Ukraine; plant hit
The body that oversees an international deal intended to get 20 million tons of grain out of Ukraine to feed people around the world said the loaded vessels were cleared to depart the country on Sunday.
Officers were called to a home in Otsego early Sunday on reports that a man was experiencing a mental health crisis, and had threatened to harm himself and his family. The Sheriff's Office says the man was shot after threatening deputies with a knife.
Firefighters battle blaze at Cuban oil storage site for 2nd day
Authorities say one firefighter is dead and others are missing since lightning struck a storage tank Friday night, setting off a fire that spread to a second tank early Saturday and triggered a series of explosions. A total of 122 people have been treated for injuries, including five in critical condition.
