Shallow water at public landings creates hazard for Minnesota boaters

At many public accesses, more of the boat ramp’s planks are above the water line than they normally are. That makes it more difficult to enter and exit the lake, especially with larger boats and longer trailers.

Fair forecast: From fog to sunburn

Much like Friday at the State Fair, and across the eastern parts of Minnesota for that matter, we will wake up to fog. It’s much cooler in the northern half of Minnesota on Saturday, and much hotter to the south. Rain is really spotty along the Minnesota border with the Dakotas.
