North Dakota officials say the railroad is making progress on cleaning up the oil that didn't burn in the Wednesday wreck but instead leaked into the ground and into a nearby slough.
Eleven motorcycle riders have died in Minnesota so far in 2015. That's the highest number at this point in the riding season since 1994, officials said Thursday.
Heimdal residents were ordered from their homes shortly after the BNSF Railway train derailed about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday outside the town. No injuries were reported.
