Minneapolis light rail train hits, kills pedestrian
Authorities said the incident happened about 6 p.m. at the intersection of the tracks at 42nd Street E. A pedestrian walked onto the tracks in front of an oncoming southbound Blue Line train.
Two of the 11 units are uninhabitable, but most tenants were able to return to their units after about an hour and a half.
4 hospitalized in W.Va. after chemical spill
About 300,000 people in nine counties entered their third day Saturday without being able to drink tap water or use it to bathe or wash dishes or clothes after a foaming agent escaped the Freedom Industries plant and seeped into the Elk River. The only allowed use of the water was for flushing toilets. Authorities were still trying to figure out the safety level of the water on Saturday.

The explosion occurred Sunday morning at The Preserve at Commerce apartment complex. There were no injuries and no damage to the apartments, said Fire Chief Brad Feist.
