Some advocates and legal scholars are trying to convince courts that it should be fossil fuel companies and polluters. And in one court room in Europe, a 

 has been brought forth by a daughter against an oil company after the death of her mother in a record-breaking flood in Europe.  

The Lever’s senior investigative reporter Lois Parshley wrote about the so-called “climate homicide” case and what it could mean for climate litigation. She talked to Paul Huttner about it.
