US forces captured Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro: Was it legal, and what comes next?

The United States has captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife and brought them to New York to face federal charges.  

President Donald Trump has said the U.S. will oversee Venezuela during a transition — a move that has ignited worldwide debate and serious legal questions. 

MPR News guest host Catharine Richert talks with a legal analyst and a political scientist about the legality of the strike, how it could reshape U.S. foreign policy and the political impact in Latin America.
