Jordan Bohannon, Iowa's sophomore guard, went to the free-throw line with a chance to erase Chris Street's name from the team record books. All he had to do was make a free throw. No big deal; he'd already made 34 in a row. Thirty-five would've given him the new record. He didn't want the new record.
