An explosion ripped through a three-story building in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis New Year's Day morning, igniting a three-alarm fire and sending more than a dozen people to area hospitals.

After 32 seasons under the teflon sky, the Vikings bid adieu to the Metrodome by beating the Detroit Lions 14-13 on Sunday. The team will play the next two seasons at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota before taking residence in their new stadium in 2016.
