A woman admitted stealing more than $2.4 million dollars from government child nutrition programs. Sharon Ross of Big Lake is among five dozen people charged in connection with the Feeding our Future investigation and the 17th to plead guilty.

Freelance court interpreters working for the State of Minnesota say they'll begin refusing jobs starting Monday. A freelance interpreter told MPR News their wages have stagnated while pay for judges and other essential courtroom workers has risen. A former Mayo Clinic doctor is accused of poisoning his wife, Betty, with colchicine. Connor Bowman was initially charged with second degree murder, but a grand jury convened in Olmsted County is now charging him with first degree, premeditated murder. And the Minnesota Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility said attorney Mike Padden forged a client's signature, repeatedly failed to appear at court hearings, and misappropriated client funds.
