I-35E construction closures begin. Fort Snelling State Park reopens after flooding

Construction will close parts of Interstate 35E for two weekends starting Friday night. And after being closed for more than a month due to river flooding, Fort Snelling State Park in the Twin Cities is open again.

FEMA flood relief funds reach Minnesotans. U.S. women's basketball team led by Lynx coach Reeve makes semifinals

More than $1 million in Federal Emergency Management Agency funding has been distributed to Minnesotans impacted by severe storms and flooding earlier this summer. And the U.S. Olympic women’s basketball team, led by Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, has reached the semifinals at the Paris Games.

The Republican nominee for vice president, JD Vance, told a crowd in Philadelphia that Walz is a far-left radical.

Melrose hit by tornado Saturday night. Walz still under consideration for Harris VP pick

Parts of Minnesota are cleaning up after severe storms over the weekend. Melrose, a city of about 3,600 people in Stearns County, was hit by a reported tornado. And Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is expected to announce her running mate by tomorrow.  Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is on the short list.
