Archdiocese in court over naming accused priests
Archbishop John Nienstedt says he will disclose the names, locations and status of all living archdiocesan priests who have substantiated claims of sexual abuse against them, regardless of where they currently reside. But he says he needs a court's permission.
Open Arms provides Thanksgiving meals at home
Hunger relief groups have been working for weeks to make sure all Minnesotans have a meal on Thanksgiving. Altogether, they'll provide thousands of meals - some at homeless shelters or other charitable organizations, some delivered right to family homes.
The court will consider two cases. One involves Hobby Lobby Inc., an Oklahoma City-based arts and crafts chain with 13,000 full-time employees. The other case is an appeal from Conestoga Wood Specialties Corp., a Pennsylvania company that employs 950 people in making wood cabinets.
