Minnesota Twins right-handed reliever Daniel Duarte will have season-ending elbow surgery on May 8. Twins athletic trainer Nick Paparesta said Saturday the surgery will be performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Texas.

Captain Brianne Jenner registered a hat trick, while Ashton Bell scored the other goal for Ottawa. Nicole Hensley made 18 saves for Minnesota, which had won all four previous games against Ottawa.
