Assessing playoff chances for Minnesota teams

The Minnesota Wild lost to St. Louis in a shootout Sunday night by a score of 3-2. The Minnesota Timberwolves lost at home to Toronto 111-104. And the University of Minnesota Gopher men's basketball team beat Penn State 81-63. The Gopher women's basketball team won just one game in its conference tournament. As the regular seasons wind down, our local hockey and basketball teams are all looking to secure a spot in the post season.
