Kill working to keep Gophers heads up

Jerry Kill's first season as football coach for the University of Minnesota has been rough. The Gophers have lost five of their first six games and he has worked to control a seizure disorder that caused him to miss stretches of practice earlier in the year.

Vikings may face changes after 39-10 loss to Bears

Indy 500 winner Wheldon dies after huge crash in Vegas race

Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon died Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway after his car became ensnarled in a fiery 15-car pileup, flew over another vehicle and landed in a catch fence just outside turn 2. Three other drivers were hurt.
