Taglibue was in Blaine today to review a site for a possible new Vikings stadium and talk with local business people and elected officials. He declined to comment on the newspaper story. But he says it would not be unheard of if the league turned down Fowler's bid.

The University of Minnesota has signed a $35 million, 25-year deal with TCF Financial Corp., giving the company naming rights for an on-campus football stadium. The proposed $235 million facility would be called "TCF Bank Stadium."
