A Star Tribune poll shows DFL challenger Mike Hatch pulling ahead of incumbent Republican Tim Pawlenty in the Minnesota governor's race. The poll gives Hatch a 9-point lead, after previous polls showed the contest in a dead heat.

MPR's Capitol bureau chief Laura McCallum talked with MPR's Perry Finelli about the poll and other developments in Minnesota's political landscape.
