MAPE unveils a series of radio ads designed, essentially, to counter the assertion that government is a bad thing.
A state employee union is pushing back against state worker bashing. "Given the fact that many politicians have made careers out of trying to demonize state employees, we decided to remove ourselves from the political rhetoric and have our members speak directly to the public about the services they deliver," Jim Monroe, the executive director of the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees, said.
It has unveiled a series of radio ads designed, essentially, to counter the assertion that government is a bad thing, by putting a human face on it.
